At my company, Peter was in charge of writing the little blurbs that we published for each teacher. They were little marketing pieces that we had on our web page, as part of each teacher’s profile. He was very good at writing terrific little piece, that were very humorous and at the same time very efficient marketing material. Here are some pearls, about several different teachers: About Martin Crabtree: “Grandson of Miss Crabtree of "The Little Rascals", Martin has teaching in his blood. It has long been rumored, but never substantiated, that Martin is in fact the one and only Alfalfa. Apparently, on humid days he develops a prominent skyward cowlick. Hmmm…" About Teresa Karas: “Need to learn how to create a Web Page? Then all you need to do is take a class in Front Page with Teresa. Dubbed the "Web Mistress" of CompuClub, Teresa takes great pride in her creations. Check out her web page at www.teresageorgekaras.com. After many years of working with computers in the legal profession, Teresa has found helping and teaching others new computers skills very fulfilling and satisfying." About Glenda Bastian: “Glenda has never met someone she could not teach. Even the proverbial "old dog" can learn new tricks in one of her dynamic classes. Regardless of the topic or the experience level of the class, Glenda can get the job done." About Linda Speacht: “Linda displays the organization and discipline one would expect from a teacher with years of accountancy experience. But don't expect a bean-counting, one-dimensional instructor. Linda's classes are lively, informative, and lots of fun" About Chris Roth: “Chris has an appetite for life and he brings his enthusiasm to the classroom. Fun and informative is what students say about his classes. He brings the same breezy approach to the classroom that he brings to the airwaves as a local radio personality." About Harlee Goodwin: “In addition to being a top notch software trainer, Harlee is a professional Jazz vocalist. She is equally adept at delivering Excel classes as well as hitting the high notes. Have no doubt that a class with Harlee will be harmonious and melodious." About Kevin Edwards: “Ex-Sergeant in the Marine Corps (7 years), but with the patience of a priest and very down-to-earth. Easy to get along with, with a knack for getting his point across and having others understand his point. In other words: "Everyone gets it!." About Geoffrey Olisa: “Geoffrey's passion for teaching immediately becomes apparent when one enters his classroom. Join Geoff for an adventure into the fascinating world of desktop publishing and graphics, led by an instructor who will allow you to express a level of creativity you never imagined.” About Bonnie Birker: “Career counseling utilizing MSW in the employment - economic development niche. A people-person who knows enough about computer technology to be dangerous.” And my personal favorite: About Robert Saint Cyr: “Robert’s methodical approach can make a difficult subject like Visual Basic a little easier to digest. Robert is so immersed in the world of programming it has been rumored that he dreams in C++."
